Collaboration

To help streamline collaboration, the Dashboard provides the following means to facilitate the level of communication:

Sharing and assigning pages

A user can share a dashboard page with multiple users, user groups or role members.

A user can assign a dashboard page to multiple users, user groups or role members.

A user can assign a dashboard home page with multiple users, user groups or role members.

For example, a manager can ask the engineers to provide explanations for a violated obligation shown by a widget in one of the dashboard pages and take the appropriate corrective actions. The recipient receives the shared page in read only mode, while drill-down and analysis capabilities are retained.

Attaching notes to entities

A user can use notes on shared or on commonly authorized to view pages. This way, issues are resolved together and knowledge is not lost. For example, notes can be used to explain the reason for the status shown by a widget, to ask for actions, etc.
