Create Dashviews

Dashviews are added to a Dashboard page using the drag-and-drop operation.

To create a regular dashview:

In the Catalog pane, click and drag-and-drop it onto a page. A New Dashview opens.

To create a url dashview:

In the Catalog pane, click Add URL Dashview Iconand drag-and-drop it onto a page. A New URL Dashview opens.

To create a tabular dashview:

In the Catalog pane, click and drag-and-drop it onto a page. A New Tabular Dashview opens.

To create a saved searches dashview:

In the Catalog pane, click Add Saved Searches Dashview Icon and drag-and-drop it onto a page. A Saved Searches Dashview opens.

Note: The Saved Searches dashview is enabled only when the page is viewed as a home page.

To create a favorites dashview:

In the Catalog pane, click Add Favorites Dashview Icon and drag-and-drop it onto a page. A Favorites Dashview opens.

Note: The Favorites dashview is enabled only when the page is viewed as a home page.

To create a task pane dashview:

In the Catalog pane, click Add Task Pane Dashview Icon and drag-and-drop it onto a page. A Task Pane Dashview opens.

Note: The Task Pane dashview is enabled only when the page is viewed as a home page.

To create a report dashview:

  1. In the Catalog pane, select the Entities tab.
  2. Click Reports and drag-and-drop a report onto a page. A Report Dashview window opens and the report is loaded into it.

    Note: The Report dashview is a picture view of the report as it appears in CA Business Service Insight. It does not enable any report capabilities. To access the report (for drill down or other Report capabilities), click on the Menu icon and select Open.
