Reason:
CA Automation Point cannot configure the asynchronous communication port specified by devicename and number. The devicename is COM to identify that the device is one of the COM ports on the workstation. In most cases, the reason given points to an invalid setting for one of the CA Automation Point asynchronous communication parameters.
Action:
Use the information given in reason to determine the cause of the problem and correct it. Also, verify that the communication port exists and is not currently in use.
