Policies - Performance Thresholds

View and manage performance thresholds for applications and monitoring devices.

Performance Thresholds List

View and manage application performance thresholds for system- and user-defined applications.

Application

Specifies the name of the application.

TCP Ports

Specifies the TCP ports through which the application communicates.

Network Type

Specifies whether the application performance thresholds apply to a custom network type which you have added, or the Default network type.

The management console uses the performance thresholds in the Default network type to monitor application performance on any client networks that do not have an assigned network type.

Segments

In a WAN-optimized environment, indicates whether the application performance thresholds apply to the Client, WAN, or Server network segment.

Monitoring Device Thresholds List

View and manage monitoring device performance thresholds.

Device

Specifies the name of the monitoring device.

Type

Specifies the type of the monitoring device:

Monitor

Indicates a CA Standard Monitor or CA Virtual Systems Monitor.

GigaStor

Indicates a NI GigaStor.

Multi-Port

Indicates a CA Multi-Port Monitor.

NAM

Indicates a Cisco NAM.

WAN Opt

Indicates a Cisco WAE device.

Address

IP address of the monitoring device.
