Edit a NI GigaStor Monitoring Device

Edit a NI GigaStor monitoring device, for example, to:

• View version information for the [assign itcm product name for the adsm variable] and Alarm Notification Manager software on the NI GigaStor appliance.
• View the status of the processes on the NI GigaStor that are responsible for sending packet digest files to the assigned monitor.
• Assign an incident response to the monitoring device
• Perform basic operations on a particular NI GigaStor, such as starting and stopping the [assign itcm product name for the adsm variable].

Follow these steps:

1. Click the Administration page.
2. Click Data Monitoring, Monitoring Devices in the Show Me menu.
3. Click to edit a NI GigaStor in the AlarmNotifier Device List.

   AlarmNotifier Properties opens.

4. Review the status information, make any changes to the specified settings, and click OK.

   For information about setting NI GigaStor properties, click Help.

   To view monitoring device incidents for the NI GigaStor, click Incidents in the third Show Me menu.
