Data Monitoring - VLAN Assignments
View and manage VLAN tag assignments for a monitor feed. CA Application Delivery Analysis is not tenant-aware, however, you can separate traffic for reporting purposes by assigning all traffic on a monitor feed or tagged traffic for particular VLANs to a particular domain.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens to tagged VLAN traffic that is not assigned to a domain? Designate a particular domain for VLAN traffic that is not explicitly assigned to a domain. By default, unassigned VLAN traffic belongs to the Default Domain.
- What happens to untagged traffic? Traffic that is not tagged with a VLAN identifier is assigned to the domain of the monitor feed. In VLAN Assignments, an asterisk (*) identifies the domain for untagged traffic. To change the domain for untagged traffic, click Cancel and then click
to edit the monitor feed. In Monitor Properties, the Domain column specifies where you want to assign untagged traffic.
