• Why assign a Cisco WAE, or NI GigaStor to a CA Standard Monitor or CA Multi-Port Monitor? The assigned CA Standard Monitor or CA Multi-Port Monitor computes response time statistics for the application-server-network combinations from the packet digest files sent by the Cisco WAE, or NI GigaStor. The CA Standard Monitor or CA Multi-Port Monitor sends the response time statistics to the management console for display in reports.
• How do I unassign a monitoring device? Click in the Assigned Device List to unassign a monitoring device.

Specifies the name of the device.

Specifies the IP address of the device.

Persistent Name

Specifies the persistent name of the device.

Last Monitored

Displays the date and time of the most recent 5-minute interval during which the monitoring device provided application response time data. Keep in mind that CA Application Delivery Analysis reporting is at a 5-minute granularity, so it is normal to see a time stamp that is up to 5 minutes old.
