View and manage the management console settings, such as the Management NIC address, email properties, and Network Round Trip Time (NRTT) threshold for filtering applications that use "keep-alive" messages.
Complete the following fields:
Indicates the name of the CA Application Delivery Analysis Manager.
Indicates the type of the CA Application Delivery Analysis Manager.
Specifies the minimum number of Network Round Trip Time (NRTT) observations that the management console must see in order to report on the application’s performance during a 5-minute interval. Applications that do not meet this threshold are typically using non-standard keep-alive messages which cause the management console to incorrectly report higher-than-normal response times.
The default is 10 NRTT observations in a 5-minute interval.
When registered as a data source with the CA Performance Center, the SMTP server and Reply To address settings are managed by the CA Performance Center:
Defines the address of the SMTP server responsible for sending email messages. When specifying the SMTP server name, make sure you specify a valid server name; the management console does not validate the name.
If this field is blank, the management console uses the localhost SMTP server. If an SMTP server is not configured locally, the management console does not send the email message.
Defines a Reply email address. This address appears as the From address in the emailed report.
To prevent anti-spam programs from filtering the notification email sent by the management console, define a valid email address on the SMTP server.
Specifies the format for images included in emailed reports. The default is Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format. You can also select the JPEG format.
Indicates the number of the NIC.
Indicates the IPv4 address of the management NIC. If the IP address of the management NIC has changed, select the management NIC from the list and select the option to send the selected management IP address to all of the monitoring devices that belong to the management console.
Identifies the IP addresses of the management and monitor NICs which were assigned during installation.
Defines information to help you identify the management NIC.
Updates all monitoring devices to communicate with the management console through the currently selected management NIC.
