enable Command (Server Management)--Enable a Server
Enable a server for scheduling
Syntax
server enable ( <name> | --all )
Options
- <name>

Name of server to enable
- --all

Enable all servers
Examples
server enable srv2
Enable server 'srv2'
server enable --all
Enable all servers
Notes:
- No error will be displayed when this command is executed on a server that is already enabled.
- Enabling a server, even if it is already enabled, resets the server's flapping counter that is maintained by CA AppLogic for System z®. The server flapping counter is the number of server failures that have occurred within the last 24 hours. Once a server has failed 3 times in a 24 hour period, CA AppLogic for System z® automatically disables the server.
- The enabled status of a server is preserved across grid and server reboots.
- Only grid maintainers may enable a server that has been placed into maintenance mode.
