info

The info command displays the configuration of the specified grid.

This command has the following format:

aldo info grid=name [controller_ip=addr] [controller_name=hostname][info_file=filename]

grid= name

Specifies the name of the grid for which you want to display the configuration.

controller_ip= ipaddr or controller_name= host

Specifies the address or DNS name of the grid controller. This value is not required if the grid was installed from the same distribution server on which the info command is being run.

info_file= filename

Specifies the name of a file in which you want to store the grid configuration.

Example: Display Grid Configuration

The example displays the configuration of the thematrix grid:

aldo info grid=thematrix

Remarks:

• All readable grid parameters described in the Configuration Options are displayed. The parameters that are not displayed are those parameters that refer to files copied to the grid controller, rather than string values: timezone and account_key.
• If the info_file parameter is specified, the grid configuration is written a form that is suitable to be given back to aldo as input in the file= option, for example:

  aldo info grid=mygrid >info_file=mygrid.cfg
