Work with a Grid in the 'Failed, running' State

A grid can fail when it is created or started. When this happens, the status of the grid is displayed as 'Failed, running'. You can display the status of a grid when you hover your mouse over the State icon in the Grids Overview page.

When a grid is in the 'Failed, running' state you have two options for restoring its operation. You can stop the grid to take it offline, or you can clear the grid failure to restore it to a running state.

Follow these steps:

  1. Select Grids from the left Menu.

    The Grids page opens.

  2. Select the check box for the grid you want to work with.
  3. Click the Grid Actions drop-down list and select one of the following:
    Stop

Change the grid state to 'Resource is now failed and offline'.

    Clear Failure

Continue to attempt to return the grid to the 'Running' state.
