3tsrvctl Usage

CAUTION: AppLogic Support advises against usage of this, or any other low level 3t* utilities unless absolutely necessary in a production environment.

Below are the OS level server control commands, invoked with the '3tsrvctl' utility, proceed with caution and as a final/last ditch effort.

3tsrvctl <cmd> <entity> <prop> =<val>* --batch --verbose
Server Control Commands (<entity> is server or srv)

info - get server information

reboot - reboot server

shutdown - shutdown server

Virtual Machine Commands (<entity> is vm or vms)

list - list virtual machines

info - get virtual machine information

create - create virtual machine

destroy - destroy virtual machine

Virtual Network Adapter Commands (<entity> is vna or vnas)

list - list virtual network adapters

info - get virtual network adapter information

create - create virtual network adapter

destroy - destroy virtual network adapter

Virtual Network Adapter Group Commands (<entity> is vna_group)

create - create virtual network adapter group

destroy - destroy virtual network adapter group

Logical Mount Commands (<entity> is mount, mounts, mnt, or mnts)

list - list Logical mounts

info - get logical mount information

create - create logical mount

destroy - destroy logical mount

Virtual volume Commands (<entity> is volume, volumes, vol, vols)

list - list virtual volumes

info - get virtual volume information

create - create virtual volume

destroy - destroy virtual volume

Scenario/Usage examples:

Coming soon, as soon as I have more time, pretty self explanatory though, I would advise testing them on one of the lab grids first to produce the results desired before attempting on a customers production environment.
