Linux OS

This section contains topics that describe how to install the various Linux into appliances.

Note: When you build a Linux appliance, you can ignore the following DF warning, if displayed. The error may display when the hvm2pv utility is called to convert an un-managed HVM to a managed para virtualized:

df: Warning: cannot read table of mounted file systems
WARNING: boot disk is specified in /etc/fstab by LABEL/UUISD, but the partition where /mnt/vol/par1 resides () does not have the matching LABEL/UUI

For instructions on creating, configuring, and finalizing appliances, begin with the Appliance Overview section. The overview provides procedures and diagrams as well as the concepts about appliance creation.
