Grid Sizing Worksheet

Before you create a grid, we recommend using the Grid Sizing Worksheet and watching the video that describes how to use it.

Use the worksheet to accomplish the following goals:

• To help you plan your grid and the applications you want to create in the CA AppLogic environment
• To help you determine the types and number of servers, CPUs, memory, storage, and other resources
• To facilitate communication between the application architect and the infrastructure provider

The worksheet comes with the sample applications used in sizing calculation (VDS, LAMP, and SugarCRM).

Note: If you want to use any other applications for your calculations, ensure that you have application architecture experience, or at least a consult with an experienced architect.
