CA Created Windows Appliances

If you are using Windows appliances created and supplied by CA, please note the following:

The boot volumes of these appliances have a limited amount of free disk space. If you resize a boot volume to be smaller, the appliance may fail to boot.
The Windows Server 2003 based appliances supplied with CA AppLogic® have these optional Windows components installed:
- Application Server -- ASP.NET and IIS (installed by default on WIN03W)
- E-mail Services (POP3 SMTP)l
- Management and Monitoring Tools
- Networking Services
- Security Config Wizard
- Windows Deployment Services (not on WIN03W)
- Windows Media Services (not on WIN03W)
Uninstall any of these optional components as desired.
