Use impediments to open and track impediments for tasks. As a scrum team member, you can indicate how severe the impediment is, such as whether it is minor or that it is blocking the completion of the task. You can track the status of the impediment by monitoring the status, with charts, and through Chatter.
You can see whether a task has an impediment with the warning icon, that appears in the Flags column on lists of tasks. The impediment icon shows a tool tip if you hover of it with the title of the impediment and the Task Detail link to open the task details page and work with the impediment.
