File groups stay open after backup has finished

Symptom:

If you are performing an incremental or differential backup, some files are not backed up because they have not changed. If these files are in a group, the agent does not close the group because CA ARCserve Backup did not access all the files. This is not harmful, and the group closes automatically when the Group Inactivity Timeout expires.

Solution:

To force the group to close, click Release in the Agent for Open Files Status dialog.
