The synchronization utility produces several reports that help you track and fix errors as you run the utility. Two types of reports are available. Each CADB2SYx component, when executed, produces standard reports by default. In addition, the CADB2SY2 component produces trace reports that are generated only when TRACE is specified as an option in the OPTIONS keyword. Listed below are the reports that the synchronization utility generates. The following sections describe these reports in detail.
The CADB2SY0 component produces these standard reports:
The input data preprocessor report
The input control statement report
The input data preprocessor report.
The CADB2SY1 component produces these standard reports:
The input data preprocessor report
The input control statement report
The incremental function report.
The CADB2SY2 component produces the following reports. The standard reports are generated by default, the trace reports are generated when TRACE is specified in the OPTIONS keyword. The trace reports consist of diagnostic information used for debugging purposes. The reports are generated and printed in the following order:
The synchronization control statement report (standard report)
The userid exception report (standard report)
The input GRANT TO PUBLIC report (standard report)
The extract exception report (trace report)
The userid extract report (trace report)
The resource extract report (trace report)
The DB2 resource status report (trace report)
The security validation report (trace report)
The DB2 SQL generated statement report(standard report).
The CADB2SSV, CADB2SEU, and CADB2SGP reports are produced once for each job. CADB2SCP, CADB2SED, CADB2SUA, and CADB2SGS reports are produced once for each batch.
The CADB2SY3 component produces this standard report:
The DB2 SQL statement report.
These reports are written to the ddname SYSOUT.
