Estimating Virtual Storage Requirements

To use this utility, you must ensure that enough storage exists. The amount of storage depends on the number of logonids and DB2 resources that you want to synchronize. We estimate that you will need approximately 512K for modules and 1024K for working storage. Here are the storage requirements for control blocks that you must meet:

Estimating DASD Requirements

There are no formulas for determining the amount of DASD required to run the synchronization utility. The amount of storage required depends upon the number of users and resources being synchronized, the CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rules for these users and resources, and DB2 catalog authorizations for these users and resources.
