Understanding the ACFRPTRV Report
The ACFRPTRV report journals information generated from requests to use DB2 resources. This report describes the nature of the resource access, the user requesting the access, and the decision CA ACF2 Option for DB2 made about the access request. Specifically, this report tells you:
- The name of the resource for which access is being requested
- The type of SMF record generated by the request
- The infostorage record key used to validate the request
- The user identification string (UID) of the user making the request
- The input source where the request was issued
- The ID of the CPU where validation was recorded and logged
- The name of the program that issued the request
- How CA ACF2 Option for DB2 determined the access permission
- What conditions can modify the access permission
- What component modified the key used in the database lookup operation
- The type of service or function requested
- The date and time of the request
- The name of the job under which the requests were made
- The logonid of the user making the request
- The name of the user making the request
- Various return codes for the specific type of access request.
