What Should You Know about CA ACF2 Option for DB2 Reports?

The reports for CA ACF2 Option for DB2 are the same as CA ACF2 reports. If you have CA ACF2 Option for DB2 installed and running, and you want a report on the status of the DB2 portion of your IBM/DB2 environment, you can run one of four reports that show information for CA ACF2 Option for DB2.

When you review the output of each report, you will discover that it includes both CA ACF2 and CA ACF2 Option for DB2 information. To produce only CA ACF2 Option for DB2 information, use the CLASS parameter to specify only CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rules (class D). Use the CLASS and TYPE parameters to specify only DB2 records (class C, type DB2).

Each of the CA ACF2 Option for DB2 reports is identical to its z/OS counterpart in these respects:

• It is generated using the same procedures
• Its output format is identical to that of the z/OS report with the same name
• The fields that appear as column headers are the same for both.
