Parameters

The CHANGE subcommand takes the following parameters:

*

Specifies that the change applies to the last scope record processed since establishing the SCOPE(SCP) setting.

recordname

Specifies the name of an existing scope record to be changed. This name is from one to eight alphanumeric characters.

LIKE(recordnamemask)

Specifies a one‑ to eight‑character mask for the names of scope records to be changed.

ADD

Indicates that the values specified by the INF parameter are added to the INF field in the existing scope record. The ADD parameter is the default.

REP

Indicates that the values specified by the INF parameter completely replace the values in the INF field of the existing scope record. If the specified INF field does not currently exist in the scope record, it is added.

DEL

Indicates that the values specified by the INF parameter are deleted from the specified scope record.

INF(entry1,entry2,...,entryn)

Restricts Infostorage database access to DB2 records and CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rule sets that you specify. Specify DB2 records and CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rules with a 1‑ to 44‑character entry that you can mask. See the previous section, “Specifying the INF Parameter,” for more information. The INF parameter is required to give access to a scoped security administrator, otherwise, Infostorage database access is completely restricted. (However, access might be granted through CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rule sets or special privileges.)
