How Do You Maintain Scope Records?

This section explains how to create scope records that restrict access to DB2 resources and CA ACF2 Option for DB2 security information. To define a scope record for a privileged CA ACF2 Option for DB2 user, use CA ACF2 to create the record. The scope record fields that apply to CA ACF2 Option for DB2 users are presented in this section.

With the ACF command or ISPF panels, you can perform the following functions:

• Display an existing scope record
• Create a new scope record
• Change an existing scope record
• Delete a scope record.

To process scope records with ACF subcommands, you must use the SET subcommand to establish the SCOPE setting:
