Parameters

The SET parameters takes the following parameters:

SET|T

Establishes the command setting.

CONTROL(DB2)

Indicates that you want to administer DB2‑type records in the CONTROL class of CA ACF2 Infostorage records.

SYSID(sysid)

Specifies the one‑ to four‑character subsystem ID of the DB2 records that you want to process. The SYSID you specify remains active until you change it with the SET subcommand or override it with the SYSID parameter of individual ACF subcommands.

You cannot mask this parameter to process multiple records with similar SYSIDs. However, you can use asterisks (*) to identify a SYSID of a single DB2 record that covers multiple DB2 subsystems. For example, you can specify DB2* for the SYSID on the SET subcommand. All subsequent ACF subcommands affect only the DB2 record with the SYSID of DB2*, not all records with SYSIDs that begin with DB2. See the SYSID Use in CA ACF2 Option for DB2 section in this chapter for more information about using SYSIDs.

If you specify SYSID, you cannot specify MSYSID.

MSYSID(sysidmask)

Specifies a mask to indicate the subsystem IDs of the DB2 records that CA ACF2 Option for DB2 processes under the CONTROL(DB2) setting. This mask remains active for the duration of the CONTROL(DB2) setting, but you can override it with the SYSID parameter of individual ACF subcommands. See the SYSID Use in CA ACF2 Option for DB2 section in this chapter for more information about MSYSID.

If you specify MSYSID, you cannot specify SYSID.
