Each DB2 infostorage record is associated with a subsystem ID (SYSID). In CA ACF2 Option for DB2, a SYSID is a one‑ to four‑character string that groups DB2 records or CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rules. It is part of the infostorage record key. With it, you can create different records or rules for each subsystem. Or you can mask the SYSID to define a single DB2 record or CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rule to protect multiple DB2 subsystems.
