The initialization of CA 1 into an active or batch active state with the TMSINIT utility is a prerequisite for most CA 1 utilities. The discussion of each utility notes which states are acceptable for program execution.
All CA 1 utilities which update the TMC will abend with U0008 if the audit threshold, which is specified in the CA 1 system options, is met. Ensure that there are enough free audit records prior to running these CA 1 utilities.
