Note: The BLKSIZE may be any multiple of the LRECL, which is 340. If no BLKSIZE is specified and the release of the operating system supports system determined blocksize, the operating system will select the blocksize. Otherwise the BLKSIZE for PURGDVOL defaults to 32640 for tape or 8840 for DASD devices.

Parameter Definitions

DATEFMT=(fmt)

Specifies the date format to be printed on TMS Reports 39 and 40. The date pattern indicated by (fmt) is limited to 10 bytes and must be enclosed in parentheses. This parameter is optional. For more information on valid date formats, see Overriding the Preferred Date Pattern.
