Control Statement Specification

The tape librarian can request the selection of volumes by job or by shift. Selection cannot be for both job and shift in the same step. Selection by shift pulls all jobs that have specified that shift. The absence of a SYSIN DD denotes the pulling of all jobs in the PDS.

INCLUDE and EXCLUDE statements cannot be included in the same SYSIN data set or an error message is issued. The maximum is 4094 INCLUDE or EXCLUDE statements.
