Job Control Statements

The JCL to execute TMSINITD in batch mode is:

Parameter Definitions

SCR=xx

Indicates the TMOSCRxx member that is read from hlq.CTAPOPTN. This parameter is required.

NSM=xx

Indicates the TMONSMxx member that is read from hlq.CTAPOPTN. This parameter is required.

TMSINITD reads two hlq.CTAPOPTN members, TMOSCRxx and TMONSMxx:

• TMOSCRxx names the scratch tape pools and defines the ranges of the tapes belonging to the scratch tape pool.
• TMONSMxx associates data sets or job names with a particular scratch tape pool.
