TITLE Control Statement

The TITLE control statement defines the title of the report. The statement enclosed in single quotes is centered, based on 132 characters per line, at the top of each new page of the report. Only one TITLE control statement is allowed. The format for the TITLE control statement is:

TITLE 'report-title'

TITLE

Identifies the control statement. It must be followed by a space.

The report-title is centered, based on 132 characters per line, and printed at the top of each new page of the report. The report-title must be enclosed in single quotes. Embedded quotes will cause the title to be truncated.
