Input Data Set

The input data set must contain TMC or Audit records. Valid data sets are:

• the TMC
• the Audit, for Audit record types 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4
• the TMC formatted data set output from TMSCONVR
• the Audit backup data set, for Audit record types 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4
• output from a previous TMSGRW execution

The input DD statement can be any data set name. If the input ddname in the TMSGRW control statements is TMC, no DD statement needs to be included in the TMSGRW JCL when CA 1 is active or batch active because the TMC data set is dynamically allocated.
