TIME Control Statement

The TIME control statement is optionally used to specify a particular time or range of time to be selected. The format for the TIME control statement is:

1    6
TIME=hhmm[-hhmm][,GMT]

Control Statement Definition

TIME

Is the control statement identifier and must start in position 1.

hhmm

Indicates the time or range of time to be selected. Use a dash (-) to indicate a range of time. The value of hh (hours) can be 00 through 24; the value of mm (minutes) can be 00 through 59.

GMT

Indicates that the time or range of time to be selected is specified in GMT. For BLOCKSET audit files, the time stamps are in GMT/UTC. GMT audit files allow the audit to be shared across time zones. They also record HHMMSSth to provide the extra granularity that is needed for active audits.
