Use the TMSAUDIT utility to analyze activity that has occurred within the TMC.
A Volume record, several specific Volume records or a range of Volume records may be targeted. This can be useful for audit, accounting purposes and problem analysis.
Audit records can be listed in three different formats: SHORT, LONG or DUMP. (The LONG format provides descriptions of all of the bit settings for the flag bytes.) Control Record reports are automatically generated in both character and hexadecimal formats. Audit records from the Audit data set or from the Audit backup tapes provided by TMSCOPY can be used as input to produce up to seven possible reports. See the Administration Guide. CA 1 must be active or batch active to run TMSAUDIT.
