DEL Control Statement

The DEL control statement is used to return to the free chain of DSNB records, a used DSNB that does not have a valid association with a Volume record (the DSNB active indicator is set when it is used.) The TMSPTRS program, which analyzes errors in the TMC multivolume, multi-data set and DSNB free chains identifies DSNBs to be deleted by TMSAGGR.

The format for the DEL statement is:

1 5
