Private Cloud

You can set up CA Cloud Storage for System z to use private cloud storage (also known as on-premise storage). These appliances provide mount point storage and can optionally provide more services such as data compression, data de-duplication, data encryption, and data replication. Deciding what features to exploit is up to you.

The mount point storage is always accessed at local disk speeds and the storage appliance controls capacity.
