- Launch the Software Delivery Application, and expand the tree for the target software delivery server.
- Right-click the node labeled Software Library, and select Register, SD-Package.
- From the Register SD Package dialog, click Browse, and then locate the <platform> directory that contains the installer on the CD-ROM. Then click Choose, and click OK to start the registration process.
For advanced installations, you may want to modify the installation control file, inoc6.icf. To do so, follow these steps:
- Expand the Software Library node, right-click eTrustITM Agent <platform> 8.1, and select Unseal.
- Expand eTrustITM Agent <platform> 8.1, Source, eTrustITM Agent <platform>" and select the node labeled config.
- Double-click inoc6<LANG>.icf to edit and make changes.
- Right-click the eTrustITM Agent <platform> 8.1 node again, and select Seal.
- To install the package on a machine, first locate the target machine node under Computer and User Groups.
If the machine does not appear under Computer and User Groups, you must install the Software Delivery agent and specify your server as the primary server.
- Locate the package named eTrustITM Agent <platform> 8.1 under Software Library and drag it onto the target machine node.
- To monitor the progress of the install, expand the target machine node and select Jobs. Double-click the appropriate job for details.
When the installation completes you may need to reboot the target machine.
