Install Silently on Linux and Solaris

Once you have created your installation control file, you may begin the silent installation.

To perform a silent installation, follow these steps:

1. Log in as root, or use sudo.
2. Locate and run the eTrustITM.<platform>.sh command for the specified platform using the following syntax:

   eTrustITM.<platform>.sh  -s
   

   The -s parameter is required to run the installation in unattended silent mode. No information will be displayed on the screen.

To verify that the installation succeeded, you may view the installation details located at $CASHCOMP/installer/log/eTrustITM.install.log. If for some reason the installation failed and you cannot find the log there, it might be located at /tmp/CAInstaller.eTrustITM.install.log.
