Storage utilization has exceeded nnn% of the amount available to the CA XCOM Data Transport region. Storage shortages within a CA XCOM Data Transport region can cause unpredictable results including, but not limited to, miscellaneous abends, file I/O errors, and network communication errors resulting in failed data transmissions or abnormal termination of the region itself.

Reason:

The storage utilization within the CA XCOM Data Transport region has been analyzed and compared to the defined threshold. The storage utilization level has exceeded the configured threshold value. This is an exception that can affect the functionality of the CA XCOM Data Transport region as described above.

Action:

This message is issued by the CA XCOM Health Check exit, which provides detailed information about the exception condition and the suggested response. The following actions and responses are documented for this check:

The CA XCOM Data Transport region attempts to continue processing.

Increase the amount of storage available to the region or reduce the maximum number of concurrent tasks allowed via the MAXTASK/MAXLOC/MAXREM parameters. These values can be changed in the Default Options Table, which is generated using the CA XCOM Data Transport #DFLTAB macro. The MAXTASK/MAXLOC/MAXREM values can also be immediately (but temporarily) changed using the CA XCOM Data Transport DFLT console command.
