Assigning a JES Destination or Writer to a Remote System

The CA XCOM Data Transport Destination Table associates JES destinations with remote systems logical unit (LU) name, IP address, or group of logical units). This table is created when CA XCOM Data Transport is installed, and can be modified at any time by using the CA XCOM Data Transport Destination Tables. You can use JES to create Destination Table entries by updating the JES initiation parameters according to whether the host system is running JES2 or JES3. For more information, see JES2 Considerations and JES3 Considerations in this chapter.
