Before you can successfully identify a CA XCOM Gateway file, for the purposes of extraction, the filename attribute of the source file within the transfer request must identify the file’s policy as a single level of path. This can optionally be followed by a name by which the file is known to the user (known as the user’s filename). A transfer request can specify for its source file any of the following:
Use the following format:
[/\]policyname[/\]filename
Whenever CA XCOM Gateway receives a file, it generates a new GUID for each CA XCOM Gateway file. When extracting a CA XCOM Gateway file, we need to provide the GUID of the file.
If a file name is specified without a GUID, and there are multiple files with the same file name, the latest file is extracted. If GUID is specified, file name can be omitted.
For a remotely initiated RECEIVE FILE transfer to the CA XCOM Data Transport system associated with CA XCOM Gateway, set the Gateway file name to REMOTE_FILE_RF, and set the GATEWAYGUID to the CA XCOM Gateway GUID value. If you want to extract the latest version of the file, then set the GUID to ANY.
For a locally initiated SEND FILE transfer on the CA XCOM Data Transport system associated with CA XCOM Gateway, set the CA XCOM Gateway file name to LOCAL_FILE, and set the LGATEWAYGUID to the CA XCOM Gateway GUID value. If you want to extract the latest version of the file, then set the GUID to ANY.
