Reason:

These messages are returned when an operator request fails for one of the following reasons:

• Invalid request
• Improper state for function

For example, a request to suspend a transfer that is not active is an improper state

Action:

Depends on reason.

Error_Q_Function returned from QAPI

Reason:

CA XCOM Data Transport called the QAPI, which returned an error code.

Action:

Turn on CA XCOM Data Transport tracing as instructed by CA Technical Support.

Not authorized to make this request

Reason:

An operator request was made for which the requesting user was not authorized.

Action:

Users can generally view and modify requests that they submitted.

To authorize a particular user can be view and modify other transfers, add that user to one of the following groups:

• XCOMADM—To view and modify other users' transfers
• XCOMSADM—To view and modify transfers from all machines

Operator request failed, xxxxx.

Reason:

An operator request has failed for a reason other than those mentioned above.

Action:

A trace must be obtained to debug this problem.
