Reason:

XCOM did not successfully connect to the relational database identified by xcom.glb parameters:

• XCOMHIST=name of ODBC connection
• XCOMHIST_USER=name of user authorized to use the xcomhist database.
• XCOMHIST_PASSWORD=password (may be encrypted) of the authorized user

Action:

XCOM continues without history functionality.

Error(s) parsing xcom.glb. Error processing Global Parm on Line nnnnn in the xcom.glb file is invalid. XCOMD will not start.

Reason:

Messages will be written for ALL invalid global parameters.

Action:

After correcting the above errors, restart XCOMD.
