How to Send a Metatransfer

Use this command at the command prompt to send a metatransfer from a local system to a remote system.

Note: If the remote system is z/OS, it can be running release r11 or higher of CA XCOM Data Transport..

The -c5 option specifies a metatransfer. The INQ_FILE command line parameter specifies the file containing information about the transfers being performed in this request.

Example:

XCOMTCP -c5 -f <CNF or XML configuration file> INQ_FILE=MYSCHEDULE STCIP=?? STCPORT=?? LUSERID=?? LPASSWORD=?? LDOMAIN=?? SECURE_SCHEDULE=<Y or N> STCTRNENCRL_CIPHER=??
