Command Prompt
To understand the use of parameters before using the commands in this chapter, see File Name, Path, and Directory Considerations in the chapter "Using CA XCOM Data Transport." In addition, you should be aware of the following:
- The XCOMD CA XCOM Scheduler service must be running before you can do any transfers.
- To edit configuration files, you need the appropriate user rights to read and write to those files.
- To send a transfer using the command prompt, you need the appropriate user rights to execute XCOM62 or XCOMTCP.
- To specify a path name that contains a blank or special character, put double quotes (" ") around it.
