Silent (unattended) installation does not display any dialog boxes if there is an error. Instead, status information for the silent installation is written (by default) to a file called CA_XCOM_Data_Transport_Install_MO_DD_YYYY_HH_MM_SS.log in the same directory where the response file is located.
Note: MO_DD_YYYY represents the month, day, and year and HH_MM_SS represents the hour, minutes, and seconds when the installation was done.
InstallAnywhere displays warnings about various files that are open. Ignore these messages. InstallAnywhere automatically updates files after the system is restarted. The updates are saved in the temp directory and are updated after the restart.
