Before you upgrade or reinstall, perform the Shutting Down procedure described later in this chapter. This procedure deletes all CA XCOM Data Transport for Oracle Solaris x86 64 queue entries. Coordinate with users for the best time to perform this procedure, so that any CA XCOM Data Transport processes are not active.
Before you shut down the queue, you can also review what is in the queue by performing the following command:
xcomqm -La
