Before Installation

Make sure of the following items before installing CA XCOM Data Transport for AIX:

The system requirements for installing CA XCOM Data Transport for AIX are met (see System Requirements).
You have received all the materials that are required to install CA XCOM Data Transport for AIX.
For using TCP/IP capability, your system is configured for TCP/IP.
For using SNA capability, your system is configured for SNA.
Your system is connected to the appropriate network.
