You can now issue commands to z/OS Agent through a z/OS Agent client session. The new CA Workload Automation System Agent for z/OS Command Reference Guide shows you how to issue commands.
If you restart z/OS Agent, you can have it use the current address for the scheduler rather than the initial address that is loaded during startup. This feature is useful if z/OS Agent received a new scheduler address after the initial address was loaded. If you do not use this feature, the initial address is loaded again during the next startup of z/OS Agent.
