Define an On-Request Job

You can define jobs to run only on request. For example, an Application may contain an ad hoc job that an operator needs to run when requested to do so.

Follow these steps:

1. Open the Application in the Define perspective.

   The Application appears in the workspace.

2. Right-click the job in the workspace, and select Edit from the pop-up menu.

   The Basic page of the job definition dialog opens.

3. Click General in the left pane.

   The General page opens in the right pane.

4. Select the Only on request check box and click OK.

   The job is defined as an on-request job.
