ERROR: INDEX FOR ALT= MUST BE PREVIOUSLY DEFINED

Reason:

The index that is specified using the ALT keyword must have been previously defined as a valid JCL index.

Action:

Specify a different alternate index or define the alternate JCL library before attempting to use it as an alternate.
